Dassault Systèmes: collaborates with Moderna in Covid-19

(CercleFinance.com) - Medidata, a subsidiary of Dassault Systèmes, has announced that its range of solutions is being used in the clinical trials of Moderna's mRNA-1273 vaccine against Covid-19, including phase 3 trials, in which 30,000 patients are expected to participate.


"The Medidata and Moderna teams are moving forward with the speed and urgency necessitated by the global pandemic, using Medidata's innovative and scalable cloud platform for clinical development," the company said.

It adds that this clinical trial is one of the largest to date to integrate data capture directly from patients, which limits their travel to medical centres and enables them to use their own devices.
