Dassault Systèmes: acquisition of elecworks range

(CercleFinance.com) - Dassault Systèmes has announced signing a definitive agreement for the acquisition of elecworks, the CAD software package for designing automation and electrical installations developed by Trace Software International.


The company will acquire 100% of the intellectual property and product range used to design Trace Software automation and electrical installations, with 21 qualified professionals set to join Dassault Systèmes.

The acquisition will streamline and accelerate the development of an integrated mechatronics solution on 3DExperience, helping Solidworks users overcome the electrical design challenges that characterise the development of smart products.
