Publicis: acquires Tremend in Romania

(CercleFinance.com) - Publicis Groupe has announced that it has acquired the Romanian technology company Tremend, a company that has over 60 million end-users for its software, in a deal that remains subject to regulatory approvals from competition authorities.


Based in Bucharest, Tremend covers a wide range of sectors, which include companies such as Carrefour, ING and Orange. It relies on strong expertise that it has developed over the last 16 years, with it currently employing over 650 engineers and developers.

The group said that the integration of Tremend into Publicis Sapient is an important step in the expansion of its global distribution model. It plans to rapidly grow its workforce to 2,500 by 2025.
