Eiffage: reconstruction of hydroelectric power stations

(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage today announced that its Eiffage Energie Systèmes teams have coordinated the reconstruction of the Caty power plant, located on the Agout river in the Tarn region of France, which took place from March 2021 to January 2022.


As leader of a contract conducted in co-contracting with Eiffage Génie Civil, Eiffage Energie Systèmes coordinated the installation of the hydromechanical and electromechanical equipment of the new Caty power plant, whose power was increased from 400 kW to 499 kW.

From downstream to upstream, five hydroelectric power plants operated by Eiffage Concessions are being rehabilitated or rebuilt on the Agout: Caty (completely rebuilt, back onstream since February 2022), Brazis (to be brought into ecological compliance in December 2020), Viterbe (2023), as well as Saint-Paul-Cap-de-Joux and La Gascarie (two power plants scheduled to be recommissioned in September).
