Eiffage: Q1 2021 sales up 6%

(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage has posted consolidated Q1 2021 sales of nearly 3.
974 billion euros, up 6.0% y-o-y (as reported and LFL) and up 1.5% relative to Q1 2019.

In Contracting, sales exceeded 3.3 billion euros, up 9.2% (+9.1% LFL) y-o-y and up 3.4% compared to Q1 2019.

The group's order backlog stood at 16.9 billion euros at 31 March 2021 for the Contracting division, up 13% y-o-y (+4% over three months), representing 14.5 months of business for the Contracting divisions.

This backlog and the sound resistance of sales in the first quarter underpin the forecast of a significant increase in business for the Contracting division in 2021, it said.
