Rémy Cointreau: sharp rebound in sales in Q3

(CercleFinance.com) - Rémy Cointreau has reported sales of 780.
9 million euros for the first nine months of its 2020-21 financial year, down 4.1% as reported and 1.6% on an organic basis (at constant exchange rates and consolidation scope), with a 25.1% organic rebound in the third quarter alone.

Still on an organic basis over the past quarter, cognac reported 33.1% growth, thanks to the US and mainland China, while the liqueurs and spirits division returned to growth of 7.2%, driven by the US, Australia and the UK.

In a context that remains uncertain in terms of health, economic and geopolitical conditions, Rémy Cointreau confidently reiterates its full-year target for 2020-21, including positive organic growth in underlying operating profit.
