Lagardère: Mediawan's takeover of Lagardère Studios approved

(CercleFinance.com) - The independent audiovisual content studio Mediawan has announced that, on Monday 21 September, it received the go-ahead from the French Competition Authority (AC) for the acquisition of Lagardère Studios.


The deal, which was the subject of an agreement signed on 6 August with Lagardère group, as well as a consultation of the employee representative bodies, no longer has conditions precedent and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2020.
