Vivendi: Oddo confirms rating after Mediaset agreement

(CercleFinance.com) - Vivendi and Mediaset yesterday announced a global agreement putting an end to their different disputes.


Vivendi will sell 24.2% of Mediaset (of which, 5% immediately to Fininvest and 19.19% over five years on the market), retaining just 4.61% of the capital.

Both these operations could raise 741 million euros for it, to which should be added the exceptional dividend that Mediaset will pay (98 million euros for Vivendi), Oddo says.

The analyst confirms his Outperform rating on Vivendi shares, maintaining a target price of 34 euros (current price: 29 euros, flat).
