Casino: starts partnership with Intermarché

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday the French food retailer Casino announced the start of its partnership with Intermarché, which will focus on the purchase of branded products in France.


Their joint food purchasing centre, called "Auxo Achats Alimentaires" and managed by Intermarché, will start operating today.

The joint venture aims to negotiate, on behalf of both partners, the purchasing conditions of consumer brands from major industrial groups.

Meanwhile, their joint non-food purchasing centre, called "Auxo Achats Non-Alimentaires" and managed by the Casino group, is also due to start operations on Wednesday.

This new entity will negotiate the conditions of purchases of products of technical goods, stationery or textile.
