Vinci: invests E15m in Hype (hydrogen mobility)

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci has announced that Vinci Concessions has made a 15 million euro investment in Hype, the first integrated hydrogen mobility platform in France, operating a large fleet of hydrogen cabs.


The transaction comes along with the establishment of a strategic partnership between both partners, which is designed to accelerate the development of hydrogen mobility in France and internationally.

As part of this partnership, Hype will entrust Vinci Energies with the construction of new hydrogen production and distribution stations in the Ile-de-France region: open to all, 26 stations for the distribution of locally produced hydrogen - 20 of which have a capacity of 1 ton/day. They are set to be commississioned over the next three years.

Vinci Concessions will also put its resources at the disposal of Hype to enable it to deploy its network of stations in other regions of France, as well as internationally.
