Vinci: public-private partnership for road in Germany

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci has announced having won the public-private partnership (PPP) contract for the new Federal B247 road in Germany.


The 30-year project represents a total investment of about 500 million euros - including nearly 350 million euros during the construction phase - and covers the design, financing, construction and operation of a new road Federal of 22 km.

Scheduled to last four years, the work will be carried out by VINCI Construction while the operation and the maintenance will be ensured by VINCI HIGHWAYS, a subsidiary of Vinci concessions

The dealer's compensation will be provided by a royalty related to the availability of the infrastructure, without traffic (availability payment). The financial closing of the project is expected to occur in September 2021.
