Vinci: road and airport traffic figures

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci has announced that Vinci Airports' passenger traffic dived 84% between April 2019 and April 2021.


Commercial traffic at airports also recorded a sharp decline, i.e. -63.8% between April 2019 and April 2021.

Following the gradual lifting of restrictive traffic measures in certain areas - particularly in North America and Europe - an upturn in air travel bookings has been seen since the start of May, Vinci notes however.

"The fact that the United Kingdom is easing its lockdown and that Portugal is loosening its restrictions should help traffic between these two countries recover. In France, flights to tourist destinations might benefit from the long weekends in the second half of May".
