Vinci: wins concessions of 7 airports in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci Airports has announced that it has won a 30-year concession to operate seven airports in northern Brazil: Manaus, Porto Velho, Rio Branco, Boa Vista, Cruzeiro do Sul, Tabatinga and Tefe.


As gateways to the Amazon and neighbouring Brazilian states, these airports welcomed 4.7 million passengers in 2019 and are essential for opening up a region of 3.8 million km2.

Vinci Airports will operate, maintain and modernise the terminals and runways. It will also transform these airports into eco-efficient infrastructures, including photovoltaic farms, biodiversity laboratories and carbon sinks.
