Vinci: says companies should unite to restore Notre Dame

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci proposes that all construction groups in France join forces in an industry-wide skills sponsorship drive to rebuild the iconic Cathedral Notre Dame de Paris, which was ravaged by a fire yesterday evening.


This cultural patronage operation is expected to be organised under the auspices of the Fondation du patrimoine (French Heritage Foundation) and enable reconstruction to begin as soon as possible.

"VINCI is naturally intent on contributing to the national fundraiser and asking its employees to do likewise, assisting Monuments Historiques architects when they assess the requirements," the group said.
