Capgemini: launches bug detection tool

(CercleFinance.com) - Altran, a Capgemini subsidiary, has announced the launch of a new tool that can predict the appearance of code bugs in programs managed by GitHub, a Microsoft service used in collaborative software development processes.


By applying machine learning to data history, the "Code Defect AI" tool identifies code fields that may contain bugs and suggests a series of tests intended to diagnose and correct them.

Code Defect AI is a scalable solution that can be hosted on-site as well as on cloud computing platforms, such as Microsoft Azure. It is also available on the Microsoft Artificial Intelligence portal (Microsoft AI Lab portal).
