Capgemini: wins contract with European Commission

(CercleFinance.com) - Capgemini has announced the signing of a three-year multi-million-euro contract with the European Commission to further develop the European Data Portal and provide related consulting studies and services.


Capgemini Consulting, its consulting brand in strategy and transformation, will lead the mission, as well as coordinating numerous partners and subcontractors, including the subsidiary Sogeti, which is dedicated to technology and engineering services.

In addition to improvements made to the European Data Portal, this contract will measure the maturity of Open Data in Europe and help assess the market for the data economy in light of current and future developments.
