Saint-Gobain: unveils policy regarding shareholders

(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain has said that its Board of Directors has reviewed the group's policy regarding returns to shareholders.


Therefore, "Based on the sales and results growth in the third quarter and the good start to the fourth quarter, the Group's operating income for second-half 2020 will increase on a like-for-like basis compared to second-half 2019";

Its Board therefore intends to propose to the AGM of 3 June 2021 to fix set dividend for 2020, to be paid in June 2021, at 1.33 euro per share, in cash, representing the same as the dividend paid in June 2019.

It further confirmed that it is maintaining its dividend policy, which focuses on cash payment and aims at a standardised distribution rate of 35% to 40% of its underlying net income, a rate that will be exceeded for its 2020 dividend.
