Plastic Omnium: EU approves acquisition of Lighting Systems

(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition of the Lighting Systems division of the German company Varroc by France's Plastic Omnium SE.


Varroc Lighting Systems is a group of companies operating worldwide, specialising in the development, manufacture and sale of exterior lamps for passenger cars.

Plastic Omnium manufactures and supplies automotive components and modules mainly for passenger cars on a global scale.

The Commission concluded that the proposed concentration would not raise competition concerns given its very limited impact on the market structure.
