Schneider Electric: Berenberg raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday Berenberg raised its target price for Schneider Electric shares from E195 euros to E200, while reiterating its buy rating on the stock - it is the broker's best pick in its sector.


The analyst spoke to the electrical engineering group's management and a number of investors since the publication of its annual results last month and noted growing antagonism within the financial community, which had largely supported the French company.

If stakeholders want to remain exposed to this market leader, which they believe is well positioned to benefit from the energy transition, they also seem to be questioning the succession process that is underway in general management and the share's current stockmarket valuation, he adds.
