Schneider Electric: merger of IGE+XAO into SE completed

(CercleFinance.com) - IGE+XAO announces that the shareholder meetings held on 4 and 5 May have approved the merger of IGE+XAO into Schneider Electric (SE), based on an exchange ratio of five Schneider shares for three IGE+XAO shares.


The merger, which will result in the dissolution, without liquidation, of IGE+XAO, took effect on Thursday at the end of Schneider Electric's AGM and will be retroactive for accounting and tax purposes to 1 January 2022.

The new Schneider Electric shares resulting from the transaction will be admitted to trading on compartment A of Euronext Paris on 10 May, at which time the IGE+XAO shares will have been delisted from Euronext Paris.
