Klépierre: most European shopping malls now open again

(CercleFinance.com) - Klépierre has announced that at present 86% of its European shopping malls are now open (representing 80% of its portfolio valuation, on a group share basis), with the proportion of reopened malls "expected to rise in the coming weeks" to reach 90% within ten days.


In certain regions such as France, Italy, the Iberian Peninsula and Germany, restrictions are still in place for certain activities such as restaurants and cinemas, although these represent under 5% of the group's rents on an annual basis.

In this context, the real estate group states that it has "implemented all the necessary measures to resume operations whilst ensuring the protection of staff and visitors thanks to strict hygiene protocols".
