Klépierre: finally, no firm offer for Hammerson

(CercleFinance.com) - Klépierre has confirmed that on 9 April 2018, it made an improved proposal for the takeover of Hammerson with its current consolidation scope at 635 pence per Hammerson share, covering all of Hammerson's capital issued or to be issued.


The enhanced offer represents a 45% premium on Hammerson's undisturbed price of 437.10 pence per Hammerson share on 16 March 2018.

Hammerson's board of directors has not really entered into discussions on this improved proposal, so after careful consideration, Klépierre has decided not to make a firm bid for the takeover of Hammerson, the group said.
