EssilorLuxottica: AGM approves dividend cancellation

(CercleFinance.com) - EssilorLuxottica announces that its Annual General Meeting, held behind closed doors today, has adopted all Board of Directors' resolutions, including that not to make a dividend payment.


In H2, the Franco-Italian company will reassess its situation and the effectiveness of the measures taken in response to the pandemic. If the recovery proves to be sufficiently solid, it could pay an exceptional dividend by the end of 2020.

Shareholders also ratified the appointment of Paul du Saillant, CEO of Essilor International, as director of EssilorLuxottica, replacing Laurent Vacherot, who retired at the beginning of the year.
