EssilorLuxottica: Moody's changes outlook
(CercleFinance.com) - While affirming its long-term "A2" and short-term "P-1" issuer ratings on EssilorLuxottica, Moody's has changed its outlook from "positive" to "stable", reflecting "a degree of uncertainty for stakeholders" .
Knut Slatten, the analyst in charge of this rating, explains that he has downgraded the outlook, "to reflect a degree of uncertainty for stakeholders stemming from corporate governance issues, tempering the
positive pressure on EssilorLuxottica's credit profile".
However, the rating agency expects, that the Franco-Italian optical giant will continue to report solid performance over the coming quarters, enabling it to maintain the credit parameters that justify its "A2" rating.
