Colas: to deploy ANAIS service in UK

(CercleFinance.com) - Colas has announced that as part of the multi-year Area 9 motorway maintenance and intervention contract signed with National Highways, its subsidiary in the United Kingdom will deploy the ANAIS service for one year.


This digital tool enables optimised and preventive infrastructure management. This will be the first time Colas has deployed this innovation in a country other than France and on a motorway network.

Created by Mobility by Colas, ANAIS will be deployed from June onwards and will be used on the entire network covered by the multi-year contract, i.e. a total length of around 3,760 km of freeways and trunk roads around Birmingham.

The service is able to identify potentially dangerous areas based on data carried in vehicles. Analysis of this data enables Colas Group teams to make recommendations to the infrastructure manager for the development of the warning zones detected.
