Colas: wins contract to extend Lyon metro

(CercleFinance.com) - Colas has announced that, via Colas Rail, it has won the contract to extend the B line of the Lyon metro, as awarded by the Sytral (transport union of the Lyon region).


This 2.4 km extension, including the creation of two new stations, will link the Gare d'Oulins station (current terminus) to the Lyon South Hospitals, located in Saint-Genis-Laval.

"The contract covers execution studies, the supply and laying of tracks (for rubber-tyred metro systems), the installation of switches and crossings, the layout of pedestrian walkways and the construction of a dry column," Colas said.
