Peugeot: global sales reach 2.5 million units in 2020

5 million units in 2020, indeed in the context of the health crisis.

Market shares increased in the fourth quarter in the main regions, with significant growth in Africa, the Middle East and Africa-Pacific.

In Europe, the Group's sales recovered strongly in the second half of 2020.
(+40% relative to the first half of the year): its market share increased in the fourth quarter (+0.5 pt compared with the previous quarter). The group also succeeded in maintaining its position in its main market, France, increasing its penetration by 0.14 point over the year.

In the Middle East and Africa, its market share in the region stood at 7.2% (+2.1 pts compared with 2019). Deliveries increased by 21% compared with 2019, reaching over 201,000 units.

The group's sales in China increased month by month from September to reach the December 2019 level in December 2020.

The Group's EV offensive continued throughout the year. All of its brands now offer either rechargeable hybrid versions or all-electric versions for each new launch. Customers now have a choice of 17 electrified models.

By the end of 2021, the PSA Group's electrified range will include 23 models, with six additional electrified models.
