Peugeot: 2017 sales up 15.4%

(CercleFinance.com) - PSA Group has announced a sharp acceleration in its sales over 2017, with growth reaching 15.
4%.

The French carmaker sold 3,632,300 vehicles worldwide and recorded a fourth consecutive year of sales growth.

Overall, SUV sales accounted for 23% of total group sales at the end of 2017. The Peugeot brand sold almost 600,000 SUVs worldwide in 2017 and is in second place in the European market in this segment, with volume growth reaching almost 60%.

With 259,300 Peugeot 3008 SUVs sold worldwide in 2017, the brand confirms the success of this model, which has been voted car of the year in Europe in 2017 and has been awarded 38 different prizes in the world.
