Kering: 4.3% fall in Q3 sales

(CercleFinance.com) - Kering's total Q3 2020 sales came in at 3,717.
7 million euros, down 4.3% as reported and -1.2% on a comparable basis, which represents a significant rebound compared with a sharp drop of -43.5% in reported terms and -43.7% on a comparable basis in Q2 2020.

The group benefited from very strong growth in certain geographical areas, notably North America (+44.1%) and Asia-Pacific (+18.5%). Performance in Western Europe (-41.0%) and Japan (-22.8%) continued to be heavily impacted by the interruption in tourism.

The group announced the continuation of strategic investments to support the development its Maisons, particularly with the progress of programs linked to the internalisation of e-commerce sites.
