Kering: publishes standards on animal welfare

(CercleFinance.com) - Kering announces the publication of its animal welfare standards, aiming to ensure the best conditions of animal handling throughout the luxury group's supply chain.


The result of three years of collaboration with experts and other stakeholders, this first set of standards incorporates detailed requirements for the treatment of cattle, sheep and goats throughout their lives, as well as slaughterhouse guidelines.

These standards take into account both the latest scientific research, in addition to legislation, standards that are in force, the best management practices and recommendations from different sectors.
