Thales: selected by Naver for cloud in South Korea

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales announced on Tuesday that it has been selected to help the South Korean technology group Naver build its own sovereign "cloud" architecture.


Thales says that the project will be based on its hardware security module (HSM) Luna, which makes it possible to protect cryptographic infrastructures.

It adds that its solution complies with various international regulations and standards relating to "cloud" environments as well as cryptographic algorithms specific to South Korea.

Thales has also announced that it had delivered its 1,000th surveillance radar for airspace security, which enables it to display the largest installed base in the world in the field.
