Thales: unvveils mini-UAS

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has presented the Spy'Ranger 550, a new addition to its range of mini Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) for tactical surveillance and intelligence, "Drawing on Thales' expertise in systems architectures, payloads, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

"Deployable in just 20 minutes, the Spy'Ranger 550's 50-kilometre range and five hours of autonomy, even under highly demanding temperature and altitude conditions, provide a decisive tactical advantage," Thales pointed out.

"Deployable in twenty minutes, its range of 50 kilometers and five hours of autonomy, over ranges of temperatures and very restrictive altitudes, offer a decisive tactical advantage", underlines the electronics group.

"Equipped with a state-of-the-art image chain, the system's optronics payload will ultimately be deployable with other types of payloads to provide the intelligence that armed forces need at every decisive moment," it added.
