Thales: holds 97% of Gemalto shares after offer reopened

(CercleFinance.com) - Gemalto says that at the end of the reopening of Thales' offer, approximately 97.
02% of its shares have been tendered.
The settlement-delivery of the shares thus tendered is scheduled for Thursday 18 April.

Thales will begin a legal repurchase procedure in order to take control of 100% of the digital security specialist's shares. A delisting will be requested from Euronext shortly after Gemalto's AGM, which is scheduled for 28 May.
