Thales: Oddo still a buyer

(CercleFinance.com) - This morning an analyst at Oddo confirms his buy rating on the Thales share, with a target price of 113 euros.


Oddo notes that "pleasant surprises" could positively impact the group's 2021 targets (reinstated by Thales at a road show organised with investor relations), stemming from a better trend in underlying markets and the group's capacity to materialise major contracts such as space constellations, new Rafale contracts or major signaling projects.

Oddo also says that it is waiting for the integration of Gemalto to be finalised before expecting a continuation in the stock's re-rating. Its modeling on the group's current scope is broadly in line with the company's expectations for 2021, although it believes that Thales' visible progress in digital could enable it to increase its market share gains in terms of orders, the broker explains.
