Wendel: completes sale of Cromology

(CercleFinance.com) - Following the receipt of necessary regulatory approvals, Wendel has announced that it has completed the sale of Cromology to DuluxGroup, a subsidiary of Nippon Paint Holdings, a transaction for which it received a binding offer last October.


This transaction generated net cash of 896 million euros for Wendel, i.e. 358 million euros more than its valuation in the NAV published prior to the announcement of the transaction, i.e. on 30 June 2021.

The investment company said that this transaction is a further step in its 2021-2024 roadmap and strategy of redeploying its capital towards growth assets.
