Wendel: H1 2020 loss of E279.3m

(CercleFinance.com) - H1 2020 consolidated revenues are down 10.
2% at 3,592.6 million euros as reported, with an organic fall of 9.5%.

Restated NAV as at 30 June 2020 reached 6,191 million euros, which is 17.3% higher than on 31 March 2020, although this has declined by 16.7% since the beginning of the year.

The total loss reached 279.3 million euros in H1 2020, compared to a profit of 98.6 million euros in H1 2019.

"Net income from operations of E83.4 million, down 66.9%: total contribution from portfolio companies negatively impacted by the lockdowns, except for Constantia Flexibles and Cromology, which have grown versus last year, whereas Wendel's financial & operating expenses decreased by E14.8 million," the group said.
