Wendel: to sell 4.73% of Bureau Veritas' capital

(CercleFinance.com) - Wendel has announced its intention to sell 4.
73% of Bureau Veritas' capital (about 420 million euros).
Following this transaction, Wendel will hold approximately 35.8% of the group's capital and 51.9% of its voting rights.

The sale of 20,920,503 Bureau Veritas shares will be made as part of a private placement by accelerated construction of an order book.

Wendel said that this sale will significantly increase Bureau Veritas' free float and liquidity of Bureau, while enabling Wendel to remain its majority shareholder.
