Faurecia: strategic partnership with China's Faw Group

(CercleFinance.com) - Faurecia has announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with one of China's largest automobile makers, FAW Group.


FAW Group is one of the world's leading manufacturers of cars, trucks and buses. The company is one of the largest Chinese automobile groups, having sold over three million vehicles in 2017.

This agreement focuses on developing solutions and services for the cockpit of the future, especially for Hongqi, FAW's luxury brand.

It also includes the development of connected solutions for seating and equipment with zero-emission and air quality improvement technologies for passenger and commercial vehicles alike, in the field of battery and fuel-cell systems, as well as lightweight composites.
