LVMH: Château d'Esclans joins Moet Hennessy

(CercleFinance.com) - LVMH announces that Château d'Esclans, the leader in the American Rosé de Provence wine market, is joining Moet Hennessy's wine and spirits portfolio.


Alix AM PTE Limited, which has been a 50% partner of Sacha Lichine since 2008, is selling its entire stake to Moet Hennessy, while Sacha Lichine is selling a 5% stake.

Moët Hennessy therefore becomes a 55% shareholder alongside Sacha Lichine, the President of Château d'Esclans, who will continue to manage the estate and will be responsible for its future development.

Today, the property covers 267 hectares and operates 74 hectares of vines planted in AOP Côtes de Provence. It is soon expected to increase its estate by a potential of about 60 hectares of vines of the same quality.
