Imerys: 2021 net income up 72%
(CercleFinance.com) - Imerys has published a 72% increase in net income from current operations to 288 million euros for 2021, as well as a 20.
5% increase in current EBITDA to 761 million euros, above its provided outlook and representing a margin of 17.4% (compared with 16.6% in 2020).
The minerals group announced sales of 4.38 billion, up 15.4% as reported (+15.6% organically), with a positive price-mix impact of 3.2% in a context of high cost inflation.
Imerys is proposing a dividend of 1.55 euro per share for 2021, up 35% on the previous year, adding that strict pricing discipline should support the group's profitability in 2022.
The share is currently down about 0.5% in Paris.
