Imerys: completes acquisition of 60% of Haznedar

(CercleFinance.com) - Industrial mineral group Imerys has completed the acquisition of a majority 60% stake in Haznedar, with options to buy the rest of the group's capital.


It is a Turkish manufacturer of refractory monolithic brick products that are used in the steel, cement and petrochemicals industries.

In 2019 the business posted sales of 64 million dollars (including exports of 40%), while EBITDA reached 17 million dollars.
