Pernod Ricard: 10.4% organic growth in Q1

(CercleFinance.com) - Pernod Ricard has reported Q1 2018-19 sales of 2,387 million euros, meaning nominal growth of 7.
2%, hit by negative FX factors, while organic growth reached 10.4%.

Amongst its strategic brands, the company highlighted better growth of Martell and Scotch, a continued strong performance of Absolut, phased dispatches to the US.

"We have had a particularly good start to the year, as expected. In an uncertain geopolitical and monetary environment, we confirm our FY19 guidance of organic growth in Profit from Recurring Operations of between +5% and +7%." said Chairman and CEO Alexandre Ricard.
