Pernod Ricard: organic growth of +6.3% over 9 months
(CercleFinance.com) - Pernod Ricard has reported sales for the first nine months of its fiscal year 2017/18 of 7,059 million euros, with nominal growth of +0.
2% and organic growth of 6.3%, driven by emerging markets (+13%).
Over Q3, the wine and spirits group recorded organic growth of +9.3%, boosted by the shift of the Chinese new year and Easter, as well as by the impact of demonetisation in India in 2016/17.
Pernod Ricard has confirmed its annual target at the top of the range announced on 9 February, with organic growth in operating profit for FY 2017/18 of around 6%.
