Natixis: buys 51.9% stake in IML.
(CercleFinance.com) - Natixis this morning announced the signing of agreements to acquire a majority stake (51.
9%) in Investors Mutual Limited (IML). The total amount of the acquisition will be a maximum of 155 million Australian dollars (103 million euros). This company will become a new affiliate of Natixis Global Asset Management. This is Natixis Global Asset Management's first major acquisition in Australia. IML has assets under management amounting to 9.1 billion Australian dollars (6.1 billion euros). "This transaction marks an important step for Natixis Global Asset Management in its aims to expand its presence in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region," said the group.
