Danone: H1 recurring EPS up 7%

(CercleFinance.com) - Danone has reported a 7.
2% increase in H1 recurring EPS to 1.63 euro, despite a one-point decline in its recurring operating margin to 12.1%, on the back of efforts to manage growth and productivity and the start of the reinvestment program.

At over 13.3 billion euros, the agrifood group's net sales rose by 7.4% LFL (+12.6% as reported), including a 7.7% increase in Q2 driven by a +6.8% price effect and a +0.9% volume/mix effect.

Danone has updated its 2022 targets, with LFL sales growth now expected at +5% to +6%, while it confirmed its underlying operating margin forecast of over 12%.
