Danone: new E800m bond issue

(CercleFinance.com) - Danone announces that it has successfully completed the placement of a bond issue of 800 million euros, maturing in nine years and accompanied by a coupon of 0.
395%, following a previous issue on 11 March, for the same amount.

The agri-food group explains that this new issue "enables Danone to further take advantage of market windows to enhance its funding flexibility, extend the maturity of its debt and optimize its cost".

Danone adds that this bond issue was widely subscribed by a diversified investor base, “confirming the high confidence in Danone's business model and credit profile.” Settlement-delivery is scheduled for 10 June and the bonds will be listed on Euronext Paris.
