AXA: exercises over-allotment option on EQH

(CercleFinance.com) - AXA announces the full exercise by the guarantor banks of the 'greenshoe' option granted as part of the secondary offering of shares of common stock of AXA Equitable Holdings (EQH).
The transaction finalised on 7 June and culminated in the purchase of 6,000,000 additional shares.

Net proceeds to AXA from this exercise will amount to 125 million dollars (or 112 million euros), which corresponds with a net price of 20.85 dollars per share, with the insurance company's stake in the capital of EQH going from 40.1% to 38.9%.
