Sanofi: successful bids on Ablynx securities

(CercleFinance.com) - Sanofi has confirmed that, at the end of the initial acceptance period, on 4 May, a total of 71,972,994 shares, 2,594,841 warrants and 975 convertible bonds in issue have been correctly tendered to its offers and not withdrawn.


As a result, the pharmaceutical giant will hold 95.60% of Ablynx's shares on the settlement date of the public tenders, of which over 90% have been acquired through offers. The securities tendered to the offers will be settled towards 18 May.

Sanofi will launch repurchase offers on securities that have not been tendered, from 22 May to 12 June. After the closing and settlement of the takeover bid, all of Ablynx's shares will be delisted.
