Bouygues: 9m current operating margin stable

(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues has reported a one-third drop in net profit for the first nine months of 2022, which reached 537 million euros.
However, at 4.1%, its operating margin was stable, on sales that are up 8% at 29.7 billion euros (+4% in organic terms).

The conglomerate explains that the profitability of its Bouygues Construction, TF1 and Bouygues Telecom divisions improved, while that of Colas (road construction) was penalised by the dilutive inflationary effect.

Regarding sales, Bouygues announces a growth momentum in almost all its businesses - particularly at Colas, as well as an order book in the construction and services businesses that offers good visibility regarding future business.

While remaining very vigilant regarding macroeconomic developments and their repercussions, the group has confirmed its targets for 2022; i.e. a further growth in both sales and its current operating profit.
