Bouygues: Contract for Istria motorway in Croatia

(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues announces that Bina Istra has entrusted its civil engineering subsidiary Bouygues Travaux Publics with the contract to double to 2x2 lanes a 28.
1 kilometre stretch of the Istria motorway, in the north-west of Croatia, for total of 167.1 million euros.

This new phase of work is part of the fifth amendment to the concession contract signed in September 1995 between the concessions company Bina Istra, of which Bouygues Travaux Publics is a shareholder, and the Republic of Croatia.

The work of the first 11.6 km section began in November 2018 and will be completed in November 2020. The work comprising the section of 16.5 km, as well as the construction of a rest area, will start in November 2019, with a delivery in November 2021.
